Dr. Wu grew up in North Vancouver, British Columbia. She graduated with an honours degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Wu continued her studies abroad and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University Southern California in Los Angeles. Subsequently, she pursued 3 years of advanced education at the same institution to receive the certificate in periodontics and Master in Craniofacial Biology.

As a certified periodontist in Canada and in the United States, Dr. Wu is specialized in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases, placement of dental implants, and cosmetic periodontal procedures. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is also a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Canadian Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, and Academy of Osseointegration.

With her kind and gentle demeanor, Dr. Wu spends time listening to each patient. She is committed to provide one-on-one patient-centered dental care with careful treatment planning and communication. Her extensive training allows her to bring innovative and evidence-based approach to periodontal therapy and implant dentistry.

Currently Dr. Wu maintains private practice in Vancouver. She also teaches part-time as a clinical assistant professor at University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys being involved with local community events, as well as hiking, biking and reading.
